I help technology companies develop focused, measurable marketing strategies for gaining marketshare and mindshare.

I'm also available to write that messaging plan your marketing team hasn't had time to finish, or that white paper you just haven't had a chance to start, because you're so busy planning a product launch.

Current and past clients include Blue Coat (WAN optimization), CenterRun (application provisioning; acquired by Sun), Cognio (RF analysis for WLANs; acquired by Cisco), Forum Systems (XML firewalls), LightPole (Mobile Discovery and content publishing for mobile phones), Mirapoint (messaging appliances), NetContinuum (application firewalls), Sentilla (pervasive computing solutions), Skybox Security (risk management for enterprise networks), SnapLogic (Open Source data integration), TYZX (stereo vision systems), Vernier Networks (WLAN security and network access control), and WildPackets (network and application analysis).

In 2006 and the first half of 2007, I served as VP, Marketing for one of my clients, WildPackets, helping the company broaden its portfolio beyond network tools to include solutions for application performance measurement (APM), network forensics, and virtualization management.

In the second half of 2005, I joined my biggest client at the time, Kenai Systems, to serve as VP, Marketing and guide the company in the Web services vulnerability assessment market. In January 2006, the company was sold to Forum Systems.

I have extensive experience with marketing in the security market (including access management, network security, WiFi security, and Web services security), as well as the collaboration and Web conferencing markets.
